Prayanam - A Celebration of Culture
The souvenir magazines published by the Liverpool Malayalee Association (LIMA) under the title “Prayanam” reflect the association’s rich cultural journey and its continued commitment to preserving Malayalam language, literature, and community values among Malayalees in the region.
The first edition of Prayanam was published in 2010 to commemorate LIMA’s 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of unity, cultural activities, and community service. The second edition followed in 2020 during the association’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
In 2025, LIMA proudly released the third edition, Prayanam @25, as part of its historic Silver Jubilee celebrations marking 25 years of the association’s journey.
Over the years, Prayanam has developed into a vibrant literary and cultural publication featuring poems, short stories, articles, memoirs, interviews, and creative write-ups.
The souvenirs also highlight the achievements and experiences of successful members of the Malayalee community and support small businesses within the community.
All three editions were produced under the editorial leadership of Mr. Biju George, supported by dedicated editorial and finance teams.
